CUSTOMISABLE OPTIONS

• Wheel Shape: Choose from our different wheel shape selections which comprise of- The Round option, The Sports Style option, The Flat Top and Bottom option, The Flat Bottom option and last but not the least the F1 style option.

• Leather, Alcantara Style and Colours: Choose from our different material styles which comprise of perforated leather, Nappa leather and Alcantara, we have a large selection of colours, if you need a specific colour which is not included in our drop-down menu, please contact us as we have only included the main generic colours on our website.

• Top Strip: Choose from our different top strip styles and colours, we can also customize these in any country flag colours you like, there are also options to change materials such as leather, metal or Alcantara. Please contact us if you want something slightly different as we have many customisable options available for the top strip.

• Stitching colour: Choose from our different stitching colours, if you require different colour stitching compared to our website colours, please let us know and we can arrange this for you.

• Carbon Fibre Colour and Look: Choose from our different carbon fibre ranges and colours which include: Twill Carbon, Forged Carbon and Honeycomb Carbon. Please contact us If you need a specific type of carbon fibre colour which is not listed on the drop-down menu as we have only included the main generic colours on our website.

• Airbag Cover: Choose from our different types of airbag colours and materials. We can customise the airbag cover material to Leather, Alcantara or even our carbon options, please note all carbon options are not safe for road use and we bear no responsibility of any harm or damaged caused. If you require any specific modifications to the airbag covers, please contact us as there are many options available such as stitching colours and material colours. We only have a limited selection listed on our website, so if there is anything you would like to change, please contact us.

• Middle Trim Style: Choose from our different types of middle trim styles, The middle trim can be customised to almost any colour, an example of style could consist of inner trim being carbon fibre and outer trim could be Alcantara, this is totally dependent on your choice. If there is something specific you would prefer for your middle trim, please contact us and we can arrange this for you.

• Paddle Shifters: Choose from our selection of paddle shifters, we have different styles and colours, if there is a specific colour or style that you would like which is different from our website, please contact us and we can check if we can arrange this for you. Similarly, we can change the “+” and “–” colours too.

(e.g, this option allows you to have a F Series BMW, when selecting our upgrade package, it simply means we can make you the exact G Series steering wheel listed on the main picture for your F series vehicle, please note in order for us to do this we have to add the airbag, buttons and main components on your new steering wheel as your original will not fit.)

INSTALLATION PROCESS

• The Installation requires you to switch over the backplate, harness, and buttons on your original steering wheel to our new one. That is only if you have not requested for these to be put on by us. This process is quite simple, there are a few YouTube videos you can watch just to make sure you get things correct, any doubts please do not hesitate to contact us.

• Disconnect the battery with a 10mm wrench, this is just to ensure there is no electric flowing through the car when you are installing your new wheel.

• Installation requires a flathead screwdriver to safely remove the airbag.

• Installation requires a 16mm wrench to remove the current steering wheel.

• If you have selected the additional LED display, there is slightly more prep work which needs to be done to get it connected appropriately, we can walk you through this process if need be.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

“Upgrading from a different style wheel? e.g., F Series M style, Sports, SE etc. If “Yes” we will need to make special configurations to the wheel by adding all the required components including: Buttons, Airbags, wiring & all extra components, this upgrade will also include the Paddle Shifters & the Middle Trim so you may select “No” above for these options as this is all included in the upgrade package.”

This stage of the process simply means if you do not have a M Sport or M style steering wheel, and the steering wheel you have is basic for example like the SE or standard Sport models, then you too can upgrade to the newer style steering wheel as pictured on our main listing, this information is vital as if you are upgrading then you would require for us to fit the airbag and all relevant components such as the Buttons, Middle Trim etc, this is due to your original steering wheels airbag and buttons not being compatible. (If you have an F series, we can upgrade to the newer style G Series Steering wheel as pictured on our main listing, simply click on our “upgrade package”)

e.g., If you have any of the steering wheels below, we can customise to the new G Series M Style Wheel.

PLEASE NOTE: WHEN CARRYING OUT ANY WORK ON YOUR VEHICLE, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU FOLLOW THE CORRECT PROCEDURES. DISONNECT THE BATTERY TERMINALS FROM THE BATTERY AND MAKE SURE THERE IS NO ELECTRICAL CURRENT FLOWING THROUGH YOUR VEHICLKE WHEN CARRYING OUT THE DISASSEMBLING AND INSTALLATION OF THE STEERING WHEEL.

IF YOU HAVE ORDERED AN AIRBAG, BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL WITH THE PROCESS AS IT INVOLVES REMOVING SPECIFIC COMPONENTS, IF THIS IS NOT CARRIED OUT CORRECTLY IT COULD LEAD TO SERIOUS INJURY OR EVEN DEATH.

DRIVING ASSISTANCE FUNCIONALITY

The Driving Assistance package contains a range of highly intelligent features to help you stay safe on the road – this is by making the drive more effortless, by warning of danger, and by taking steps to protect you in an emergency.

Torque Modifications now have the ability to retain this feature on your new steering wheel. If your previous steering wheel had this feature installed, we can easily add this optional extra for you by installing a decoder, so rest assured there will be no error codes on the dashboard. The decoder will automatically know when the steering wheel is being held by the driver.

A vibration unit with a small motor is also built into the steering wheel to directly warn the driver when it is sensed that the vehicle is drifting out of its lane unintentionally. The motor rotates an off-centre weight, causing the grip portion of the steering wheel to vibrate to support safer driving.

HEATING FUNCIONALITY

The Steering wheel heating feature heats your steering wheel to a pleasant temperature in no time. Added comfort you can feel and appreciate, especially during low temperatures.

Torque Modifications can retain this feature if you have this previously installed on your old steering wheel, simply click retain heating functionality on our drop-down menu and we will add this feature onto your new steering wheel with no added hassle.

“Rome wasn’t built in a day, that is why the process of manufacturing our steering wheels is finished to perfection, and perfection takes time!

Our steering wheels can take between 14-21 days to produce after the order is placed by the customer.

After production the steering wheel can take between 3-7 days to ship to our customers, depending on your location, we ship our Steering Wheels worldwide.

Once the order has been accepted and fulfilled, you have a 24-hour gap to cancel the order before the manufacturing process starts, at this stage a refund cannot be issued so please make sure you commit yourself totally before purchasing!

Returns are not permitted as the steering wheel has been customised specifically to your preference.

Returns are only permitted if the steering wheel is faulty, we would expect you to check this on arrival of your parcel, so you do not sign for it and it can be returned back to us by the courier.
