The Smartrack S5 D-iD is a brand-new tracker that replaces the traditional driver ID tags which are used on most S5 tracking systems. This new system uses your mobile device as a driver recognition system. It is one of the most convenient and user-friendly systems on the market today as there is no need to carry the standard S5 ADR tags. The tracking system is linked directly to your phone and identifies you as the authorised driver of your vehicle. It is the only system of its kind on the market.

The SmarTrack S5 D-iD has been tested to the Thatcham S5 standard. The device operates using GPS/GLONASS, GPRS and GSM technology. The S5 D-iD tracker allows you to monitor your vehicles location and status at all times. If at any time the authorised device is not present in the vehicle when it is moved, SmartTrack’s intelligent technology will recognise which active mode is set on the D-iD app to determine how you are contacted in order to ensure the security of the vehicle.

Having an internal battery backup, the device can remain operational even when the vehicle’s power supply is removed. The device also monitors the battery voltage level and ignition status. Should any alerts be raised, Global Telemetrics will contact you regarding the safety of your vehicle.

Optional remote immobilisation feature available, this feature allows the control room to immobilise your vehicle if for example it has been stolen.

• Our Thatcham approved engineer will install your tracker/immobiliser within a few hours
• SmarTrack will contact you afterwards to take payment for your subscription (see the options in the subscription options dropdown above).
• Receive your completion certificate.
